I bought some equipment while I was recently deployed and now trying to hook it up, it's kicking my ass. I have TSP 2 running on my macbook pro, hooked up to a korg zero4 by Firewire, running out to 2 Rokit rp5's by XLR cables. No matter what settings i change in Traktor i can not get any sound out of the. In order to use Timecode control in TRAKTOR with the Korg Zero4 or Zero8, you have to install the application 'Traktor Adapt for Zero 4', which has been developed.

Lately I've been eying up this wonderful piece of gear. The Korg Zero 4.

It 's a pretty old model it apparently doesn't even support windows 7 (and maybe even vista) so that should tell you more then enough about it's age. Nevertheless I think it's a solid piece of kit.
But I've read somewhere (most of it on r/DJs) that it's A TRUE PAIN IN THE ASS to set up and frequently has connection problems even with mac. And even worse that you could get a hissing sound right out of the box.
Some huge problems if you ask me.
I can pick one up for around €600, awesome price if you ask me.
Anybody can shed some more light on this ? Thanks. Search on DJTT wasn't that helpful.
